Your Part in legacy

When we’re in the new building and we have successfully made room with more parking, more kids’ space, more Sunday School space, more auditorium seating, and a beautiful Commons area, be sure you’re able to join us in saying “Look at what God has done through us!” We cannot do this unless everyone plays their part, acting in obedience to what God is calling them to do.

That is the invitation. We’re asking everyone to go through the process of asking God what specifically He would have them do in support of Legacy. No one should give any more or less than what God has asked them to give.

TWO goals: Engagement & Investment

Giving is a spiritual discipline and therefore it brings about heart transformation when we practice it. Our prayer is that everyone who is a part of the Glen Meadows family continues to grow in generosity not just in special circumstances like this, but in everyday life.

The total cost of the new facility will be $27 million. We already have $17 million—the necessary investment from Legacy in order for us to build debt free is $10 million (approximately). This will enable us to begin construction in early-mid 2025, God willing.

We believe that both of those goals are attainable if we work together, each of us doing our part—asking and expecting God to lead us in what we should do, and then being obedient to commit and give as He directs.

LEGACY UPDATE

On Sunday, November 3, hundreds of us made our Legacy pledges together during our Sunday services. It was a memorable moment—a moment that sparked new momentum toward the next phase of God’s vision for Glen Meadows.

We exceeded our goal in this initial phase of Legacy pledges with combined intention cards of over $13 million! Praise God!

Our building team is working to finalize the plans for the new building and we will share updates soon. There is still more work to be done, so if you haven't submitted a pledge to Legacy, you can still do that below.
