The Vision of Legacy
We are at a critical moment in the life of Glen Meadows Baptist Church. How will we build on the legacy we’ve been given by those who have gone before us? How will we make room for those who will join us in the future?
Watch this message from Mack Roller, pastor of Glen Meadows, to understand the vision behind the Legacy campaign.
Who We Are Becoming
By 2032, our 45th anniversary, our vision is to have created a renewed pipeline — not of metal, but of people — who carry not fuel to power machinery, but Living Water from the Spring of Life to empower a movement of healing and freedom to the next generation across the 13 dry and thirsty counties of the Concho Valley.
Together we will have adopted eight schools across the valley. We will have established an enduring gospel presence among the next generation reservoirs of Angelo State University, Howard College and the Goodfellow Air Force Base.
From places like these could it even be possible that God would use us to reinvent a multi-generational missional movement that has local impact and global influence?
Would it be possible that God would choose us to play a part in creating a gospel flow line of ...
500
DISCIPLE-MAKING LEADERS
raising up...
2,000
DISCIPLES
equipped to have...
145,000
GOSPEL CONVERSATIONS
across the Valley and around the world?
we Believe That it is!
But this God-sized vision is more than our current facilities can ... well ... facilitate.
We must act now because it’s not just our own future that is at stake. It’s the future of our children, our grandchildren and our great grandchildren. It's the future of an entire generation who have not forgotten the gospel, they have no memory of it at all.
It’s in a context like this that we must always remember that the Church was never meant to merely be a place but a people that fill every place with the goodness and good news of Jesus.

What is your part in legacy?
It will take all of us who are a part of Glen Meadows working together through faith-filled sacrificial generosity to fulfill this vision for the future.
Previous generations made similar kinds of sacrifices to resource the spaces we enjoy today. They didn’t know you, but they sacrificed to make room for you. Now it’s our turn to do the same for the people we want to reach.
