Jesus is God
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate (in the flesh) who came to all the world to offer the only solution to sin - a holy sacrifice. (Philippians 2:5-8, Luke 2:40, John 1:1-5, Hebrews 4:15)
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit permanently lives in every believer providing assurance, strength and wisdom. He also uniquely gives each believer gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ. (John 16:7-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:30)
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God revealed to humans and inspired by God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 15:4)
Salvation
We believe that salvation (the forgiveness of sins) is not linked to church membership, works, good deeds, heritage, or genealogy, but rather faith alone in Jesus Christ. (John 1:12, John 3:16, Romans 3:23-25)
Relationship
We believe becoming a Christian begins with starting a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (John 3:1-15, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17-20)
The Church
We believe that the Church exists to reflect who God is and bring glory to Himself. (Matthew 16:18-19, Acts 2:41-47, Ephesians 1:22-23)
Forgiveness
We believe the only remedy for sin is a renewed life based on faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:6-9, Galatians 3:13-14)
Baptism
We believe that believers baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper are the two ordinances of the church. (Matthew 28:19, Luke 22:14-23, I Corinthians 11:23-26)
Baptists
As an autonomous Baptist Church, we hold to the truths and freedoms listed below.
Soul Freedom
We believe that every person can freely respond to God.
Bible Freedom
We believe what the Bible claims for itself. It is the inspired word of God. We believe what it says about sin, the resurrection of Christ, the second coming, the indwelling of the Spirit and baptism of believers.
Church Freedom
We believe that every church is autonomous, with every member responsible and accountable.
Church/State Freedom
We believe in a free church and a free state where all are free to exercise their faith and the government does not establish a faith.
