Meet Our Staff

Rev. Mack Roller
Senior Pastor

Pastor Mack’s pastoral ministry stretches back to 1988, and he has served in a number of churches in Texas prior to understanding God wanted him here at Glen Meadows in 2007. He attended Criswell College for his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and is currently a Doctoral candidate at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mack is married to the beautiful Kris Roller. They have 4 children:  Leah, Luke, Jamin (who serves with his dad as Glen Meadows’ Student Pastor) and John-Mark. He has also just recently added the title of Grandfather, as well! Momentarily setting aside his pastoral life, Mack enjoys bike riding, time with his growing family, and all manner of sports. His favorite movies: Silverado and The Bourne series. Favorite Books:  Heart of the Problem by Brandt & Skinner; Spirit of the Disciples by Dallas Willard and The Unstoppable Force by Erwin McManus

Our pastor’s goal in ministry is centered around Col. 1:28-29: “We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. I labor for this, striving with His strength that works powerfully in me.

William Rainey
Executive Pastor

William has had the privilege of serving Glen Meadows since January, 2008.  Prior to joining GMBC, he served for 3 years as a church planter in Tucson and for 8 years as a missionary/church planter in Scotland.  The verse that guides his ministry has always been 2 Corinthians 4:7:  "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power might be of God and not of ourselves."

William has been on honeymoon with his beautiful wife, Beverly, since their marriage in March, 1993.  They have been blessed with two incredible children, Meghan and Benjamin, whom they hope will support them in their old age.  William enjoys spending time with his family, photography and the pursuit of knowledge.

Brandon Oaks
Pastor - Life Groups

Brandon has had many roles at Glen Meadows since he came on staff in 2005. He currently leads our Life Group ministry, developing the leaders and directing the growth of church discipleship. His goal is to see as many people as possible put their hope in Jesus Christ for salvation and to help believers develop a strong relationship with God through Bible study and prayer.  I also hope to see believers demonstrate Christ's love to the world by serving those in need. He lives his life by the words of Galatians 5:13: “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love."

Brandon describes his family: “...my beautiful wife, Tonya, is the Children's Minister at GMBC.  We have 3 awesome kids: Kaitlyn, Rylan, and Reagan.” Hobbies? “Spending time with my family (that's more of life than hobby, but it's what I love to do), music, sports, hunting, and fishing.” Favorite movies: The Princess Bride “...favorite since the 7th grade.” His favorite pastors would be Francis Chan and Matt Chandler, and his favorite reads are Crazy Love, Servolution, The Hole in our Gospel, and Choosing to See.

Randy Fair
Pastor - Worship/Outreach

Randy has led Glen Meadows in worship since 2008. His goal in ministry is to “learn more than I think I know, love more than I allow myself to be loved, give more than I have been given, and leave this life unashamed.” He tgakes his direction from Joshua 1:9 “Haven't I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take." Randy and wife Debbie travelled with their family in itinerant evangelism extensively across the US as well as overseas for 19 yrs.  Their family ministry focused in the areas of church-wide revivals, concerts and summer camps.

Randy and Debbie have been married for 30 years and are the parents of 3 incredible young married adults. They now give their ministry passion to the local church as well as their personal passions for being young grandparents to 5 boys and 2 more on the way!

Randy loves the outdoors; hunting, fishing, scuba diving, golf and working with his hands. He is a private pilot and holds an extreme love for flying airplanes! Family time and friends are of the greatest value to his personal time. Favorite movies: Anything with a twist in the plot! Sci Fi and Adventure movies of all kinds. Any war movie, but especially those about World War II.

Favorite preacher/books, etc.: Vance Havner and Adrian Rogers, Junior Hill, Herb Reavis and Johnny Hunt. He reads civilization and history studies, and books that chronicle past Spiritual Awakenings.

Tonya Oaks
Children's Minister

Tonya is the longest serving staff member, coming on staff at Glen Meadows in 2001. Since then, she has led our children’s ministry with her unique and engaging style. Her calling is to reach people with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him and and to reach out to others. She bases her life around Philippians 3:14: “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Tonya, along with husband Brandon (our Life Group Pastor), have three children: daughter Kaitlyn, and sons Rylan and Reagan. She spends her off-time fishing and playing any sport, as well as decorating, “...and planning parties for any event!” Favorite Movies would be “...any movie that tugs at the heart.” Her favorite preacher: Johnny Hunt

Scott Cotton
Pastor of Biblical Counseling

Scott is the latest addition to the Glen Meadows staff, starting in 2010. His ministry focuses on the people: To build up and strengthen the Church by teaching and admonishing God's people through the study of His Word. He claims John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" as his life verse.

When not engaged in serving the church, Scott enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, and music. He shares his life with his wife, Cheri, and their two daughters, Clara and Emma. His favorite movies include Gladiator, Braveheart, and Chariots of Fire. His reading shelf would include C.H. Spurgeon, Lectures to My Students; Dietrich Bonhoeffer, The Cost of Discipleship; and J.I. Packer, Knowing God.

Jamin Roller
Student Pastor

Jamin came on staff in 2010, and immediately began the work with students. In his ministry he desires to be apart of, and involved in, assemblies of faith who reject the ideologies and practices of the kingdoms of this world and as a result of His death and resurrection, pledge allegiance to Jesus as they embody the reality of God's kingdom here on earth. In other words, love God and love people. His life verse: Revelation 21:5 - And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."

He and his wife Carrie have been married for just under three years, and recently added a son, Asher, to the mix and have greatly enjoyed the gift of parenting! They love to travel and be outside, “...but nothing beats a day at home with good food and great friends.” They understand that things work best in life when Jesus is the leader in the home; so they strive to honor and obey him in all they do as spouses and parents.

Describing hobbies, Jamin says, “I enjoy anything involving sports and competition. Most recently I have attempted mountain biking, but have an uncanny attraction to cactuses and wildlife.” His favorite movies: Braveheart, Troy, Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Dark Knight, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and anything Will Ferrell. His favorite preachers: Mack Roller, Matt Chandler, and Mark Driscoll. “I am a closet nerd and enjoy reading theology and philosophy.” - like good Bible commentaries, and anything by N.T. Wright, Tim Keller, Craig Blomberg, Darrell Bock, D. A. Carson, G.K. Beale, and George Ladd.

Jamey Halfast
Media Minister

After a period of ministry with students around Texas, Jamey started down a new path at Glen Meadows in 2002, to lead the media and technical ministries. He wants to see the church lead the way in taking advantage of the draw that media and entertainment produce, and the incredible opportunities you find in technology, to enable Glen Meadows to reach the world with the message God gave her. He bases his life on Psalm 37:4 - “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

Even after two decades developing a family, Jamey still doesn’t understand why God blessed him with his incredible wife Leta, and their two boys, Cory and Tobin. They make his earthly life complete, no matter the circumstances. As a hobby, passion in the areas of entertainment and technology have given birth to a consuming desire to create and produce movies, which pretty much sucks away all his spare time. If he had more, he’d probably watch movies and play paintball. His favorite movies: “All things Star Wars. Even episodes 1-3... at least the DVD extras are awesome.” His reading time is more blogs than books, but they are devoted to growing in his personal life, as well as his ministry life. “They both come together in C.S. Lewis.”

Don Maier
Missions Director/Facilities Manager

Although Don is a long-time Glen Meadows member, he officially came on staff in 2008, and left behind a career in the restaurant business. Since then, he has directed Glen Meadows’ missions efforts to reach our city and around the world, expanding how we think about God’s heart for people without hope. Don also heads up the church’s facilities, a demanding job by itself. He looks to Philippians 4:4-9 for his life verse. His goal in ministry is to help engage the church to reach the lost for Christ.

Don is married to Heather Maier, and has two sons: Andy and wife Kim of Midland, and John and wife Carrie of San Angelo. He also has a daughter Kathy Cole and Husband Gary. His grandchild count stands at 5: Alexyss, Avery, Garrett, and Hannah Maier, and Arianna Cole
Off the clock, Don can be found simply spending time his wife and grandchildren, “building stuff”, or watching NASCAR sports. If he’s watching a movie, it’s going to have action in it. His favorite preacher? “Pastor Mack, of course.” Favorite authors include McArthur, Lucado, Blackaby, and Jeremiah.
